Through my career I have had the opportunity to collaborate and learn from many individuals. It would be impossible to name all of them, but the below few I wanted to acknowledge.
Chris taught me how to strip and rebuild engines, gearboxes, torque converters, pumps....I cold go on. Engineering degrees teach you a lot, but practical appreciation is what really enables value.
Politics and policy influence every market. Mike taught me about the dynamics of the energy sector, which allowed innovations I was helming to better position themselves.
Neil taught me much about contract architecture and negotiation. While we only ever collaborated on one project, he has become a great friend and sounding board.
I have always appreciated the fact I have a partner in life capable of so much, including being a great confidant that I can always bounce ideas off, and receive objective balanced comment on.
My father. An individual that accomplished so much in his own life, and through the times we worked together, imparted to me a breadth of business knowledge it would be hard to equal.
My editor and amazing friend, who brought clarity to my thoughts while finishing my very personal memoire. Her support, guidance and diligence could never be forgotten.
